 | First Point Minerals Corp. . is a Canadian based mineral exploration company focused on acquisition of precious and base metal properties in the Americas. The company is currently concentrating its efforts in Canada, Mexico and Central America to advance properties to commercial production. Properties include: large nickel properties in North America and precious metal (gold and silver) properties in Mexico and Central America. The management team with over 120 years of management experience in over 30 countries, is led by Dr. Peter M.D. Bradshaw and Dr. Ron Britten who collectively have been instrumental in the discovery, exploration and advancement of seven major mines containing over 25 million ounces of gold as well as several other mineral discoveries worldwide.
Four Nickel Properties, (Ni)
- Four properties 100% owned by First Point in British Columbia.
- Disseminated nickel-iron alloys in ultramafic rocks.
- Exploration targets anticipated to range between 100 to 500 million tonnes and 0.15 to 0.3% nickel; bulk mineable "porphyry style".
- Nickel extraction by a combination of leaching and physical separation.
- Ongoing sampling of the properties for analyses, mineralogy and extraction testing in progress.
Corralitos, Gold-Silver-lead-Zinc (Au-Ag-Pb-Zn)
- First Point Option (from Teck Cominco) to earn up to 100% interest in Corralitos, northern Mexico.
- Carbonate hosted Au-Ag-Pb-Zn Property similar with the world class Ag-Pb-Zn Santa Eulalia and Naica deposits in northern Mexico.
- Gold - 3 to 17 grams/tonne (g/t) between 1.2 to 9 meters wide silicified zones in limestone.
- Silver -100 to 300 g/t and 1 to 4 g/t gold in veins.
- Two drill targets defined and two other targets possible drill targets.
- Ongoing surface exploration in progress & drill program planned in the first quarter of 2008.
Camporo, Gold-Silver (Au-Ag)
- 100% owned by First Point in southern Honduras.
- Epithermal low sulphidation vein mineralization similar with El Peņon Deposit, Chile and Sleeper Deposit, Nevada.
- Gold -- maximum 104.7 g/t in 6.2 meters estimated true width in drill hole.
- Silver -- maximum 743 g/t in 6.2 meters.
- Drill program to test deeper portions of several targets.
Tule, Gold-Copper (Au-Cu)
- 100% held by First Point in central Honduras.
- Solicitude (claim) has not been granted; awaits the Mining Law being passed.
- Intrusion hosted gold and copper-gold, oxidized bulk mineable targets.
- Gold -- range 0.5 to 59 g/t; disseminated and vein/fracture controls.
- Copper -- range 0.1 to 0.5%; unknown porphyry copper-gold potential.
- Expand surface exploration, trenching and drilling.
Mesas de Cuapa, Gold (Au)
- 100% held by First Point in central Nicaragua.
- Solicitude granted over large area, awaiting approval of expansion.
- High sulphidation alteration & mineralization in Tertiary volcanics similar to Pueblo Viejo, Dominican Republic and Yanachocha.
- Gold - 0.1 to 0.6 g/t; oxidized, bulk mineable target.
- Trenching & drilling next steps.
Aquila
- First Point holds 1.2 million free trading shares of Aquila Resources Inc.
- First Point personnel are on the Aquila board and technical advisory committee.
- Aquila holds the Back Forty Property in Michigan & Cedros in central Honduras.
- Back Forty Property - volcanogenic massive sulphide deposit contains 5.3% Zinc, 2.3 grams per tonne Gold and 28.8 g/t Silver in 6.6 million tonnes; ongoing exploration & scoping study.
- Cedros Property -- carbonate hosted Ag-Zn-Pb mineralization, drill ready.
