First Point Adds to Claim Holdings at Decar Nickel Project

| | First Point Minerals Corp. (FPX:TSX:V) announce today that it has negotiated an agreement to expand its holdings at the Decar nickel alloy project located 100 kilometers west of Fort St. James, in north central British Columbia. The Decar nickel project is 100% owned by First Point, whose activities are directed towards exploring and developing a large bulk tonnage nickel alloy target.
Pursuant to the agreement, First Point is to purchase a 100% right, title and interest in two claims from 802213 AB Ltd., a private company incorporated under the laws of Alberta. The consideration to be paid will be 150,000 First Point common shares. The numbered company is at arm's length to First Point.
The transaction is subject to acceptance by the TSX Venture Exchange and the shares to be issued will be subject to a hold period of four months from the date of issuance.
These two claims total 168 hectares.
